Altura Learning proudly present Outstanding Learning: Engaging Hearts exploring the ACC library’s many features and how Altura Learning supports a culture of learning, education and development.

Altura Learning’s new course, Outstanding Learning: Engaging Hearts is available from March 21, 2018 and will be of particular interest to Altura Learning Coordinators, Managers and Educators, along with any staff working within a quality improvement role.

Adult learning theory is continuing to evolve. New technologies have transformed how we access information, how we learn and how we are choosing to learn. Once learning was focussed on a formal classroom setting, where education had a one-size-fits-all approach. Modern learning utilises a more blended approach, combining education delivery systems such as e-learning with on-the-job training. One thing that hasn’t changed over time is the importance of engaging the learner to ensure the education experience is effective.

In Outstanding Learning: Engaging Hearts, Chemene Sinson, an adult learning principles specialist, facilitates three case studies detailing organisations that have utilised the Altura Learning library in different manners in order to engage their learners. Watch and discover how the use of the Altura Learning library improved the culture of learning within these organisations and resulted in positive outcomes for their staff and residents.
