Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) Support
February 16, 2022 | Altura Blog
Microsoft stopped supporting Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) in Microsoft 365 apps as of August 17, 2021 and will stop supporting IE11 on Windows 10 on June 15, 2022. Following Microsoft’s lead, Articulate 360 is ending support for IE11 in 2022.
Articulate 360 is a tool used by Altura Learning to create and publish some of our courses.
What is changing?
Beginning July 1, 2022, you won’t be able to view courses published from the latest versions of Articulate Storyline 360 or Rise 360 in IE11. (Courses published prior to July 2022 can still be viewed using IE11.)
You will need to view courses published from these tools on a supported browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
Who does this affect?
Members accessing Altura Learning SCORM modules which have been created and published in Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline 360 will be affected by this change. This includes:
- SCORM courses downloaded from our Content Portal then uploaded to your organisation’s LMS, and
- SCORM courses we have uploaded to Bridge, e.g. COVID-19: Your role and responsibilities
You can identify SCORM courses uploaded to Bridge in the Author area by selecting the SCORM + AICC filter.
DVDs and courses created and published directly in Bridge are not affected by this change.
